CASE STUDY:
United Crane Services Ltd were commissioined to dismantle two Container Cranes.

We commenced the contract in February 2000 beginning with the dismantling of the two containter cranes. The work was carried out by a team of our skilled engineers under strict Dutch safety guidelines. After four weeks, the cranes were fully dismantled and ready for despatch to the UK.

The cranes were shipped over to the port of Goole, UK and were then transported to our premises in Sheffield.

Once at our works, the cranes were fully refurbished and repaired. All motors, gearboxes, brakes, pinions, ring gears, wheel bushes or  bearings were fully overhauled and, where necessary, were replaced for new.

The complete refurbishment of both cranes took 10 weeks. The cranes were then fully cleaned and prepared for painting and were gloss finished.

Following this, they were ready to be transported to the customers site.

The meticulous work of re-assembly, erection, testing and commissioning took another 10 weeks and the cranes were then finally handed over to the Customer.
